Jamarkos Campbell Goes To Trial

Remember about 5 1/2 years ago during the whole "Orange Street Incident"? If not, then let me remind you: On Orange street a couple of years ago there was a huge party at the Magic Moments bar. There was a call about a possible fight so local police officers responded just in time to see an Explorer trying to leave the scene. One of the people in the Explorer was Jamarkos Campbell. After the Explorer was stopped, a gun fell out of Jamarkos's coat, he tried to run, and was put on his ass by an officer. After seeing this, the driver of the Explorer (Jamarkos's girlfriend) came running around toward the police officer, Jamarkos, and the gun. Another officer grabbed the girlfriend and put her ass on the ground as well. After seeing this, the crowd became real ugly and started to make threatening comments and actions towards the officers. Back up was called in and everything was taken care of. The next morning, Jamarko's mom, Sherri Campbell, went to the police station and filed a complaint about how they treated her poor innocent son. Basically, they screamed racism and police brutality was the reason for the response from the crowd on Orange Street. No wrong doing was found from an independent commission looking into the claims by Sherri Campbell. And since she lacked an education and had plenty of time because she was unemployed, Sherri was put on some advisory board to watch over police or something like that. Poor Jamarkos, he was such a victim in all of this. He never did a......wait.....what's this? It seems like Jamarkos was trying to swallow some cocaine in jail where he was lodged recently. The bag with his saliva was sent to Frankfort and his DNA showed up in a cold case in Lincoln County. It was found out that 6 months before the Orange Street incident, Jamarkos robbed and killed 2 men, and shot and injured 2 girls for some drugs. Now he's facing murder charges and singing like a bird about all of his homies that was there with him. The Richmond Register says: "Jamarkos Campbell has given numerous statements implicating the other defendants,” Montgomery said in arguing his motion to split the trials." I'm honestly not sure if Sherri Campbell is even still alive, and could frankly care less. But I would like to sing a little song right now for Jamarkos from Richmond and all of her citizens. Ahem, "Nana nana......nana nana.....heyyyy aaaaaa......good bye" |
